Our studio is open every day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, or by appointment. We are located at 6217 Ross Road, on the eastern edge of Abbotsford and are surrounded by farmland. The studio is located inside a horse barn, with fully rennovated stalls providing space for classrooms, kiln and work rooms, and plenty of storage.
Emma usually works between noon and 5pm, Monday to Friday, although may be found pottering around at other times. Her wheel is set up in a side studio, where she can pot in peace, with Pickles for company, listening to Maria Callas, or Vladimir Ashkenazy. There are two other regular potters at the Stablehands Pottery, Bev and Sara. They are also available for tours. You will find a good selection of both functional and sculptural pieces on display in our gallery. We accept etransfer, cash, Visa and Mastercard for your convenience. You can enjoy the beauty of the scenery and watch the horses and cattle wander around the property. If Apollo the dog is about, he is always up for a cuddle, or a game.
